Level 1 Gymnastics
Hi I am Laura the founder of Dance Works.
My passion for dance started when I was 2 years old.
I wanted to learn all forms of dance and I took part in many competitions.
After finishing school, I went on to further my passion for dance at Phil Winston Theatre Works in Blackpool.
When I finished my dance performers course I realised my passion was in teaching.
I always helped in classes at the local dance school.
The chance came to take over the dance school, even though I was 17, I jumped at the opportunity and Dance Works was born, I have never looked back.
After 15 years of having established Danceworks in Bolton
An opportunity arose to grow the school by setting up a new location in Timperley.
We have been established in Timperley since 2015.
I also deliver classes to various local Nurseries, primary and Secondary Schools.
Teaching another 200 pupils per week, both in Bolton and Timperley.
Hi, my name is Aaliyah
My passion for dancing began around the age of six when I took part in regular jazz, tap and ballet classes.
My training is based around ballet (trained at the Centre of Advanced Training), tap, jazz, modern, hip hop and contemporary.
Having trained in a wide array of dance I chose to specialise in hip hop.
I attended Loreto Sixth Form where I achieved an A Level in dance.
During my time in college, I took up a lot of volunteer work at Gorse Hill Studios teaching children as young as 7 for competition teams.
Some of my credits include:
•UDO Northwest Champion 2015.
•UDO Midlands Champion 2014.
•UDO Yorkshire Street Dance Champion 2014.
•Opening Rick Ross’s concert, dancer for Manchester United Foundation, Platinum Music Video, and Opening JLS’s Hashtag party event.

• Salford Red Devils.
•NCS and Active Dance – as well as private lessons.
My goal for the future is to continue learning and sharing dance with others and to continuously seek to enhance my own attributes.
I always look forward to challenging the children at Dance Works to reach their full potential!
