Hi I am Laura the founder of Dance Works. My passion for dance started when I was 2 years old. I wanted to learn all forms of dance and I took part in many competitions. After finishing school, I went on to further my passion for dance at Phil Winston Theatre Works in Blackpool.
When I finished my dance performers course I realised my passion was in teaching. I always helped in classes at the local dance school. The chance came to take over the dance school, even though I was 17, I jumped at the opportunity and Dance Works was born, I have never looked back.
After 15 years of having established Danceworks in Bolton, An opportunity arose to grow the school by setting up a new location in Timperley. We have been established in Timperley since 2015.

Hi I'm Rebecca After my first dance class at age 3, I feel in Love with dance and I have been dancing ever since.
I have taken dance exams and performed in shows throughout my life. I've enjoyed taking part in IDTA examinations in varied styles over the years which has allowed me to develop into a well-rounded performer. I took my GCSEs at The Swinton High School gaining an A in Dance, I then moved onto Pendleton College where I completed several A Levels including Dance, at this point in my education I realised that dance would be my future.
I decided to further my education, at Edge Hill University completing the BA Hons Dance course with a 2nd Class Degree. Whilst completing my degree, I assisted children at my local dance school and I also had the opportunity to deliver cross curricular dance classes within several primary schools. I enjoy delivering fun and engaging after school clubs for both boys and girls, and love giving them the chance to perform their work in front of their peers and families.
I am also Arts Award Adviser at the level of Discover and Explore which aims to get children introduced and involved to the various forms of The Arts. I absolutely love performing and have performed in many shows over the years including Bolton Dance Festival and the Move It Project which involved me performing at Murrayfield Stadium. I wish to continue my development as a teacher in order to give pupils the best possible dance education and allow them to discover their own passion and love for dance!
